Mike is a kind and dedicated leader who has been working in the environmental sector for over 20 years. As a program director at Evergreen (national charity and not-for-profit), Mike is part of the senior leadership team. His current portfolio at Evergreen, and through much of his work history, includes many programs focused on environmental education. As a director, Mike is responsible for fundraising and generating direct revenue through his programs and projects at Evergreen Brick Works.

Mike has a BA in Environmental Studies with a Sociology Stream and a post-graduate certificate in Environmental Management and Assessment.

Throughout life, Mike is an enthusiastic cyclist and a strong proponent of active transportation and accessibility issues. He’s married, has a mischievous cat, and loves exploring the sights, sounds, and tastes within cities near and far.

Mike is an invested member of the ZooShare Co-op, having held ZooShare bonds since 2016.
