A biogas plant, also known as a biodigester, is the building that provides an oxygen-free environment for a process known as “anaerobic digestion”. The biogas plant works like a big concrete stomach, mixing organic waste on a continual basis. During this process, organic waste is broken down, biogas is collected, and a by-product of fertilizer is created. Our biogas plant is “fed” on a continual basis, meaning it can store and produce electricity at any time.
