To support renewable-energy development in Ontario, the provincial government created the Feed-In-Tariff (FIT) program which pays renewable energy producers a premium fixed rate for the renewable power they produce. For example, ZooShare will be paid $0.17 for each kilowatt hour we produce. As a non-profit, we will use the revenues from our FIT contract to service our ZooShare Bonds and continue our mission of educating people about the value of waste.
